Here’s another Illustrative T-Shirt designer I’ve come across lately. Elena Gallen isn’t a full on T-shirt label with PR staff pushing her 24/7 yet she’s able to class Giles Deacon and Wendy James as customers.

Most of her current tees tend to follow the same cool illustration concept, that hand drawn but still perfect design of pop culture icons. Most famously a bloodied nose Kate Moss on which she so eloquently said:

“I denounce and praise this addict model who’s a role model for millions of boys and girls nowadays. It’s an ephemeral and temporal illustration, and the actual impact it creates will be irrelevant in a time. That’s its strength, it defines this era perfectly. It defines the fleetingness of fame.”

I’m not going to pretend that I totally agree with what she’s saying, as I didn’t listen enough in English class to understand even half of what that means. But I’m sure it nicely sums up what she was going for.
