Sophomore NYC
Other than having one of the best lookbook photograph collections I’ve seen in a while, Sophomore also have probably one of the best basic staple collections you can buy. I certainly think it beats American Apparel for staple style.
I never really totally got the whole AA hype thats been going on recently, myself. Although I could imagine this slightly grungy, NYC not arsed look catching on. For some reason it all sorta reminds me of that controversial 90’s film ‘Kids‘
They’ve been on my watchlist for a good few years now, so I’ve watched them grow from the odd T-shirt to a now full collection, which really is great to see happen. I suppose It’s the most natural way for a fashion line to grow, just slowly building up over time.
